Doggie cool down recipes

For a while now I've been searching for something simple to give the dogs when we're having a heatwave. Up to now I've snook them a scoop of ice cream, which I know is bad for them but since we don't have any pool and we had a hose-pipe ban I didn't know what else to do to help them with the heat. I've now found the recipe which may help them through august (if we get sun again).

1 Quart fruit juice
1 banana, mashed
1/2 cup yogurt

Mix ingredients together thoroughly, then freeze. This can be eaten by people too. 

Simple! And I can always just go to our local shop to get the ingredients (which is good something hardly anything is there).
