The very best of friends.

I've been going through a pretty hard and stressful time lately, the scariest and most stressful moments I've probably had to deal with at the point in my life, decisions and ultimations constantly being thrown at me and I have been struggling to cope.

What do you do when the person you love is treating you like the enemy? And you either retaliate or you lie down and do what they ask but live a life unhappy and being taken advantage of.

Well... I'm a bit of both really! I can definitely bite back but when does it get to the point where you can't go on in that situation anymore?

This post has a point, I promise!

For the past 14 months I have put this person I love as my number one priority! When we rowed, I would be so down that I didn't have the energy to walk my precious girls. Said person would come number one when we getting along and not getting along. And they knew that!

Not anymore! It has took a long, exhausting road for me to figure out where my priority should always be. My girls need me, for food, for walkies, for playtime, for the good of their health... in so many ways, they are my children! They cannot do it themselves! What happens when you are with someone who is jealous of the time and energy I give my girls... and that is when I'm not doing half as much as I would like to do with them!

My girls - my number 1 priority, now and always!

Feeling the love

I'm home and I was a little bit excited to see my pups :)
My dad was amazing and looked after them whilst I was away. I made sure to ring him every night to make sure they was getting there daily dentastix, haha! Here is a picture of my big girl showing the love ;-)

Our weekend

It's not been the best weekend for our walkies, we tried to do something a bit more fun and interesting but it just went a bit wrong! Our Saturday walk was crazy busy! People were everywhere which the dogs don't mind but Molly got very reactive over an Alsatian she saw coming her way and I was so embarrassed! It hasn't happened for a while so I was a little disappointed! Today's walk was a water logged field and we all got soaked haha but because of this they didn't get as long as I would have liked. Definitely need to work on reactiveness on Molly! Although on the good side she has learnt how to hold items in her mouth on command :-)

And here is a picture of me and my pups from our christmas day walk :-) it was a much better one despite what Jess' face says haha!

a cosy christmas

Firstly, I hope everyone has had a fantastic Christmas. We certainly did :-) We woke up around 8am, had breakfast, opened presents and then had a dog walk. As it was still early, there was no one at all around and I loved that! Later on, family started to arrive and my Mum started cooking the dinner. Puppies definitely had a feast with us that day and then later on we settled down playing games whilst the dogs napped on the sofa. We received some very exciting news too... which I'm hoping to announce in mid January. It's something the dogs will definitely need training with but I'm ready for this new chapter, and I think they are too!

family time

Hi from me and Molly :-)

Jess should be here but she does not enjoy posing at all haha. We went on a lovely walk this evening just as the sun was starting to set. It's always my favourite time to get the girls out as it's so quiet and it's just us, undisturbed play time.

I have realised that although I have thousands of pictures of my girls there is only a handful of me and them...so I have a new goal of making memories aka family portraits! Some may be awful, but above everything, they'll be a memory for me, and that's kinda the main thing!

real life #1

I'm going to start writing on my "real life" posts, little snippets about what has been going on in our lives... things I want to remember.

1. We was at our wildlife walk on the weekend and I was walking both dogs with one hand, I wasn't paying attention when Molly spotted and ran for a squirrel, because I wasn't ready her leash went straight out of my hand and she went off running, I shouted "STAY" and oh my goodness, the little monster turned angel actually sat down in a perfect stay command until I could catch up and pick her lead up!! Such a good girl. She's never done that before :-)

2. Molly has recently been obsessed with playing with a skipping rope, she seems to think it's the greatest tug toy ever haha. Both handles fell off within 30 minutes and even though I've tried to hide it she always seems to dig it out.

3. Jess bess has been helping me in the front garden, off leash, whist I get grown up boring stuff done. She literally stands with me wagging her tail and then when I'm done putting rubbish out etc, she has a run on the grass. This may not sound like much, but we have no gate at our front garden area and there are many other dogs/ wildlife where I live, so she's being a very good pup!

4. I had lunch at home from work yesterday, Jess was sat next to me hoping for a piece of food, I shouted for Molly and she wouldn't come, I went to search for her and found her sunbathing on the outdoor furniture haha.

Lol she looks so annoyed here - she had spotted a rabbit and didn't want to pose!

I have pictures to upload of Molly in her swimming pool :-) we had a really fun heatwave!
The girls had fun in holiday camp whilst I went to my brothers wedding. They was very well behaved but the excitement when I went to pick them up was crazy - they almost dragged the woman walking them to the floor when I shouted their names haha.

Molly came home with a cut on her foot which I assume she did whilst being crazy and running - I would wonder about that however Molly hurts herself on almost every walk we take her on in some way or another so I can't complain.

Jess and me have recently started jogging together, she's fab! I see it as our bonding time. She's also improving in the car as she will sit next to me and let me stroke her, so no more crazy dog running in circles on the back seats haha.

play time

I bought a fancy pants new flash for my camera so now we can finally take indoor playing pictures that aren't full of blur!

We had a good playtime here :-)

Girls are off to holiday camp tomorrow (oh no!!) I will be collecting the on Saturday so it's only for one night but gosh, don't you just wish you could take your dogs everywhere with you?
